About the service:

We currently have an excellent permanent opportunity for a Deputy Manager at Mountnessing Road.

You’ll be joining the multi-skilled staff team at Mountnessing Road, a lovely registered nursing service in the heart of Billericay. Mountnessing is a dynamic home for up to eight people with learning disabilities, complex physical health needs and sensory impairment. The service has a great track record for providing excellent nursing care and support to the people who live there, and currently holds a ‘Good’ CQC rating.

About the role:

As Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Registered Service Manager to supervise, lead and develop a busy staff team of Qualified Nurses and Support Assistants, and also assisting with all aspects of daily management, including budget monitoring, business planning and performance management. In addition, you will be responsible for the full running of the service in the absence of the Service Manager.

You’ll lead by example in proactively promoting a positive, caring atmosphere within the service, ensuring that care quality standards are upheld and driving continuous improvement to ensure the best possible service is provided to the people who live at Norton Place. The role will also involve overseeing the support given to our service users in their varied daily and social activities.  

A nursing qualification/current NMC registration is desirable, but not essential, for this post.
