Are you a senior nurse/Clinical Lead looking for a new exciting opportunity to work within a well-established nursing home?

Located in scenic village in Oxfordshire, Pulse are working with a UK leading residential care organisation that offers patients a warm and welcoming environment with 56 single bedrooms, for old age, learning disabilities or physical disabilities.

This client is dedicated to providing a homely environment for all residents with large communal areas; having recently achieved a CQC report of GOOD, the client is looking to continue offering high quality nursing care to residents.

Our client wants their residents to get the most they possibly can out of life every day; by planning, managing, directing and monitoring the delivery of the highest quality nursing care, you'll allow them just to do that. You'll be holding the highest clinical standards, and you'll be making sure that your team of nurses and carers keep up-to-date of all the latest developments in care.

You'll be also responsible is assessing the physical, psychological and social needs of all your residents by implementing if the person-centred plans that meet their needs. Your other responsibilities may include planning rotas, training and mentoring staff, recruiting, and helping to co-ordinate daily activity plans, and liaising with local regulators and social services.

You will be required to comply with the NMC guidelines on administration of medicine, meeting safeguarding regulations and keeping records meticulously.

NMC registration is required with evidence of continued professional development; previous experience as a clinical mentor, including supporting newly qualified nurses through their preceptorship is beneficial.

Up-to-date with the most recent clinical practices, you also have professional experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments. You'll also need an understanding of regulatory frameworks, as well as DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical Guidelines.
